I have learned quite a lot about the CG workflow specifically Blocking linear and spline. My experience with character animation has been hard but satisfying. I learned that it is probably better to do a lot of the actions during the blocking stage rather than the linear. I have also gotten much faster at animating and at fixing problems in Maya when they occur. I feel quite nervous about handing in my final animation, but I put my all in this project. I feel very proud of the IK switch when he hits the vending machine. I also really like the posing of my character. I fear that some of my posing got lost when I was doing linear. I am definitely using CGI for my thesis film. I couldn’t imagine using any other medium.
